Why your plan doesn't work in Turkey
Surcharge-free EU roaming only covers EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway (and from 2026, Ukraine and Moldova). Turkey is outside it. Unless your operator includes it explicitly, you'll usually pay by the day or by the megabyte.
Two ways to travel with data
